We thought it might be a nice idea to get started on our first challenge. We decided not to do anything too big and ambitious so we are asking for a round quilt, between 12"and 15" in diameter with the theme of "Carnival". Hopefully the inspiration for this is obvious!
You can use any technique you fancy, draw inspiration from any source. It is really up to you. The date for submission is the first Tuesday after Christmas, i.e. 14th January 2014. We aim to have an exhibition in Spring/Summer 2015 so these mini quilts will be our first steps towards that.
Don't forget, if you are having a problem or are stuck for inspiration, I am sure that the rest of the group would be happy to help.
